You can still take it out sooner and blast it from the inside with compressed air to give it a freshen up rather than the full clean and oil that they recommend every 50K.
Lets face it though, how many of us are going to do 50k or even 25k very quickly?? Obviously there are some on here that rack up crazy mileages, yes you punkstig, but the rest of us are only doing a few k each year.
