Not really, no. You don't need a license to cycle, so obeying traffic laws is optional as you cannot be banned.
You do what is safest and gets you about the quickest.
I mean that first bit at the traffic lights. Who wouldn't! Stop at the lights and you are just getting in everybody elses way and putting yourself at risk.
The wrong way down one way streets, yup a bit stupid, but guess who's gonna get hurt.

So next time I'm a pedestrian and a cyclist comes my way on the pavement which isn't designated as cycle share I can just kick the Bike since A. no licence required to walk and B. never heard of anyone being prosecuted for assaulting a pushbike
Even better I'll start walking along the middle of the road. I'm sure a copper would nick me for doing so but hey if enough of us do it the cops will ignore us
