I am a plastic welder as well as a mechanic and by that I mean proper plastic welding and not a cowboy with a soldering iron. I normally charge £40 for a weld and then £60 per panel to paint. I don't use glue or fibreglass because IMHO neither are a permanent repair.
This is a thou fairing that was split out from the headlight and then crack from the top corner of the light that I repaired, this picture was taken prior to paint, once painted the repair will be completely invisible and just as strong as the original fairing ever was.
