If everything is running as it should, then a K&N is just a straight swap, with no need for a Dyno or tinkering.
It does make the bike feel more responsive on the throttle in my opinion and you can feel that it's breathing easier, but it won't enhance BHP at all.
I've got one on my bike and i'd imagine everyone else who's got one would say go for it.
