As standard they are a bit lazy dropping into the bends and inclined to understeer.
Stanchions 10 mm up through the yolks as Andy FZS says and a 10mm rise at the rear gives it the flickability of the Fazer 600.
Upgrade the fork springs as the standard ones are far to soft, even when they are wound in full.
Progressive fork spring and the 2012-2013 S1000RR rear shock (gave the 10mm rise at the rear) fitted has totally transformed my bike.
