Ride 2-up down a bouncy road and that will be the potential of the standard one exceeded. I never rode 2 up, but I know 2 (so thats 4) riders and they had it bottoming out.
I thought my standard shock was just about ok, but after 2 years it seem to lose what damping it had. The Ohlins is way superior, but costly.
I didnt realise the 2013 model had fully adjustable rear shocks.
