If they are working directly to the battery and the brake light are working then it is your connections which must be at fault.
As Fazerrider says if it is those insulation displacement they may be the wrong size.
I would never use these type of connectors as they are nothing but trouble.
Disconnect the plug to the lights and connect the led lights into them Yellow to red and black to black. Do they now work, if so then it is your connections which are wrong.
with a bit of care you can remove the insulation with a cutters and connect the led light wires directly wire to wire.
Solder the connections and tape it up.
The reason I asked to remove the bulbs and try it was because of a problem brought to me a few months ago and they would glow lightly with the bulbs out but nothing with the bulbs. After much head scratching, I saw a very small sign on the lens "24volt" the led lights he had bought were for 24volt running. :lol
