That is one badass looking bike, I might even look into doing the forks too now! I'm sure the temps aren't that great that they would split a heavy aluminium swing arm, do you not think the guy's alloy wheel may have had a defect prior to being done? Genuinely interested though as the last thing I want to do is end up scrapping a swing arm and pair of forks :eek
