Saw an mt-09 out and about today, it did look well, sort of naked sports/supermoto hybrid. They're just cool!
And as for the flat bar sportsbike conversion, there are a few companies that do it. I keep thinking of getting a newer R1, and building another one, but my FZ1 is basically an R1 with flat bars anyway. I just need the Ecu flashing, and it'll be there. The bugger is easily fast enough, comfy enough, and handles well enough to keep up with one on the road ;D
