Get your Haynes out and check what the wire colours, because 1 of 2 things will be the case.
1. It was a non-uk model but may still have the connector for the r/h switchgear - whihc means then all you have to do is go buy a r/h s/g with the switch off ebay etc.
2. It was a non-uk model but there is no connector, then you gonna have to do what I did (mine was a converted USA model) and take to a bike shop so they can do a clean bypass into the headlight relay.
