R1 forks fitted!
#8
Quote:What year/model YZF bottom yoke?

Its off a 1993 YZF 750

Its pretty much as good as your gonna get fit wise (apart from maybe a gen 2?) , didn't even need to modify the lock stops and the brake splitter/horn bolt straight on.  Just the 1mm sleeves (1mm ally sheet cut to length and bent into a circle) as the YZF forks are 56mm at the bottom yoke.

Cheers Simon! Took about 4 hours all in including fitting the fork seals/springs and new oil.

The screen is excellent, if I ride to work in the rain my chest etc is dry (If the speed is up Wink ) and buffeting/wind noise is great - and I use the Nitro N1200-VX which people tell me is loud.

Unfortunately that's about all I can tell you - it was fitted when I got the bike and there are no stickers like MRA etc.
