Finally figured out what was wrong with the FJ, it kept hesitating on the throttle and chucking unburnt fuel out of the exhaust. I replaced the plugs, caps, coils, pick-ups still to no avail. I also replaces the 4-2 Neta system with a far sexier 4-1 Vance & Hines Megaphone from my old drag bike.
The problem was 2 knackered carb Diaphragms and the previous owner had stripped the thread on one of the pilot jets which kept working loose :o .
Needless to say all this done and I knew it was fixed because the bars tried to smack my in the face the moment In opened the throttle in anger!
Now to get started on the new subframe and tail unit.
