Annoyingly mine is in good condition looks wise, especially in comparison to the ones on Ebay. I have enquired about one on the for sale & wanted section so maybe I'll get lucky.

In terms of replacing it, is it literally a matter of taking the old one off and fitting the new one? No extra work needed?

Yes, If you are replacing it 'like for like' you will be able to just swap them over. Just make sure it's seated nicely where it joins and clamps together.
