A piece of Fazer history.....
#2

Weyyyy..nice one Deefer......& opinions havent really changed since then it seems.on some good blasts with my old man on his FZ6 the difference doesnt seem to be quite as big as on paper & when he was leaving me it was more down to his experience than the bike i reckon. :\

I've been doing some internet searching on the old TRX 850 & it seems to be all about low down grunt so now i have low, mid & high range to contemplate in my thick skull.

So maybe i'm just getting a bit too used to old FZS but sometimes 3rd gear just seems like it could have a little bit more grunt & it is usually my overtaking gear so perhaps this low down power is what i need.or a change of sprockets for more accelaration.

I dunno.....what i do know is that ive discounted the MT09 after a visit to a stealers today....a bit small & didnt excite me to look at.....sat on a fireblade...nah.......fazer8 was just a bit dull (sorry fazer8 guys) & i didnt even look at the R1 & think wow i must have one.

I did like the CB1300, didnt actually feel all that heavy but for scratching it's a bit big surely.

Nah....keep the FZS.....& maybe get a TRX if i can ever find a mint one. 8)
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
