My Fazer & Fitting a Givi Rack
#2
Remove the seat
Remove the Grab Rail, pick out the rubber covers and undo the bolts
Remove the rear cowling. 2 bolts under the seat, two plastic screws which are pulled out when you undo the plastic screws under the front part of the cowling and 2 bolts (need a good fitting screwdriver) near the rear light. The cowling pulls out from the rear and is a bit fiddly and you may have to pull it apart gently to clear the sides.
Fit the bracket as shown in the picture A (instruction leaflet) and replace the cowling and grab rail. Spacer number 3 (instruction leaflet) is not required on your model because of the different grab rail and was only required on the 98/99 Fazers.
Remove the footrests and put the bolts aside as they are replaced by the number 6 (instruction leaflet) bolts
Spacer number 5 (instruction leaflet) fits on under the footrest  front bolt to allow for the extra space used by the carrier rail on the rear bolt.
Number 7 (instruction leaflet) bolts are bolted through the rail onto the bracket you fitted under the cowling.
Have fun.

Well wear.
