Break or mend?

Deefer, he had the cover off the clutch and showed me the petals etc. Everything in there was fine. We emptied the oil, not too bad, no bits.... stuck a little rod into the sump and no bits either. He's fairly experienced (rides a Fazer 600 himself). He said the next bit of investigation would need the engine out - he full of sh*t? He reckoned it was a bent selector fork - is there a way to get to these without splitting the case.


And my chain wasn't too tight, but maybe the foot thing though. I am lanky.


Thanks for the quote. I'd be there in a flash if I still had a van...... but I don't and pushing it to you would take a few days! I'm in South London.
