I'm only guessing, but perhaps the first dyno run was with the pod filters and different exhaust fitted, but before any jetting changes were made to the carbs. It would certainly run more air in the mixture (so running lean?) which would affect the power output. I'm surprised it's by that amount though. My knowledge is pretty limited, to non existent on the subject of carbs, so maybe something else was to blame.
