hi.
iv'e had my Fazer for a while now, and iv'e never had a problem with it.
but recently iv'e stopped riding it through the winter months, and was using my scooter for a bit.
but about 2 week ago i got it out and because the weather was nice. everything seemed as normal, it started and ran fine. not a problem
but set off on it after warming it up. and about about 4000 rpm as iv'e let the clutch out and give it a small hand full of throttle. it has a slight cough. just enough to be annoying. it seems to go away slightly as the bike gets up to its running temp.
also its always been serviced etc.
but one thing i did change before i stopped riding it. it had a vacuum Scott oiler, which i took off and sold. i caped the vacuum port off with a rubber cap so that makes me think its not a vacuum problem. however the carbs now may need balancing due to me changing something that was connected to a vacuum port.
anyone got any theory's before i let my mechanic look at it would be much appreciatedĀ
