I thought th e whole idea of buyin a bike was to get out and ride on it ?? If not, its one bloody expensive ornament to sit and look at !! Doesn't matter what's all been done to it,, it's all cosmetic and done for personal preference !! End of the day , it's only worth the same as any other bike it's age and mileage, regardless, big time and money loss there !!

Couldn't agree more, I bought a Fazer 1000 Gen 1 which had been written off and rebuilt using EBay bits, so colours were a bit of a mismatch, but boy did I have fun, only sold it as a tad heavy after R1 and used to pull my shoulders out on tight twisties, still miss it. :'(
