A mate has a big Yamaha trail type bike with a similar thing on which I thought was original fitment, but I could be wrong. I was thinking of making something similar for the FZS600, probably still will as sometimes I like to make things if I can rather than buy it.
At the moment I have a wedge device that slips under the side stand and allows for different cambers by how far you push it under. That is on a piece of string that I loop round the handle bar and just wind in and put in the tank bag when leaving. The string also means I dont drive off and leave it behind
