On the FZS600 boxeye (shown as your main bike) I also found the standard mirrors not good. i.e. half filled with arm and shoulder and needing to shift position for a decent view behind. Some folks seem to find them o.k. though. I found the mirrors from a FZS600 foxeye (2002-2003) to be very much better, although they stick out a bit more. I've never found that a problem, but if you go in for ultra close filtering you might have to allow another inch. Fazer thou mirrors as mentioned by Ian-man (FZS1000) are the same mirror.
The Yamaha part number is 5LV-26280-00 for left and 5LV-26290-00 for right.
After market ones easily available if you don't like the new original Yamaha pricesĀ :eek .
Just be aware the mounting studs on these mirrors are 5 or 6mm longer so you "might" need to fit a washer under the original domed fixing nuts.
