Lights - A question -but not about a mod

I'm looking at buying a new light unit and fitting it. I am assuming i'll have to take the whole front fairing off to do so? right?

I feel a bit bad just coming on and asking questions,

New light units don't come cheap, although you might get a good second hand one if you are lucky. Yes you will have to take the fairing off but it is not difficult as long as you don't miss any of the fixings  . Maybe try it without the cone first and see how it is.

Definitely don't feel at all bad about asking questions as that is one of the main purposes of this site. Often someone else benifits from it as well.
