I'm sure this is just to do with the gasket used to attach them, but has anyone else had a similar problem and what did you do to solve it? I'm thinking i'll have to have a proper fiddle with it but time is limited due to work and daylight so I figured someone might have advice
At a guess they have pushed the clamping ring (if that's what its called) hard up against the end of the grip so it's causing the grip to rub against the switch housing. I quite wiggle should pull it away a bit and free the throttle.

I can get to the indicators ok, but the Hazard lights and Full beam switch seem very very difficult to get to with out taking my hand out. The muffs I've got have a cover for the Thumb which I'm actually thinking about cutting off if I can't get used to it. I know it will reduce their warmth a little, but I think they'll still be ok.
In my experience all muffs take some getting used to and do feel cumbersome initially. If I were you I would stick with it for a bit, they're never going to be perfect but the benefits of a good muff are worth it.
