Oh the mirror needs replaced, it was sheared off near the mounting point of the mirror.
I got the paerts today, took the old screen off, fitted the new mirror, refitted the LHS mirror to sort the loose rubber on that side. Fitted the new screen , started up and noticed a vibration in the screen between 2 and 3 k rpm, tried adjusting the screen screws and managed to shear the head off one. Fortunately I managed to get the thread out nof the hole, and have ordered these on Ebay

Oddly, after I did all that I noticed the vibration is less when the bike is off the stand, so we'll see what happens. The replacement screen is a bit more scuffed than mine, but doesn't have a massive crack, maybe next time I drop a screen I'll get a slightly dearer one off Ebay that looks better, though this one looked fine on Ebay. It took a bit of coercing into position, i think it's been out of a bike for too long.
Hopefully the new nuts will improve the vibration.
Needless to say I was being v careful putting the bike on to the centre stand today.
Thanks all for your help
