Do you get annual leave though Stevie???, gotta say id hate that 3 shift pattern with only 2 days off as we all know the first day off doesnt count due to being a complete zombie.
I do 2 11 hour days - 0630 to 1730, after my second day i try to stay up as late as possible, usually til about midnight to 1am & then try to sleep in til lunch time next day because im then on 2 13 hour night shifts 1730 to 0630.then 4 days off, which really equates to 3 normal days off.
I do that shift pattern 5 times & then get 14 days off....running rota all year long ..no bank holidays or additional leave, no extra payments for working bank holidays or xmas etc.
Gotta say i like it....although i often go many weeks missing weekend social occasions & not really seeing the wife much....youv e gotta be able to operate alone & enjoy your own company & find my days off alone are far more productive than my weekends ever were as it doesnt feel socially acceptable to just been lazying around on a tuesday afternoon doing nothing......well unless your a commited dole bum.
Plenty time for :faz Outiings on some ace roads when they're quiet & theres less cameras/strategies kicking about 8)
