I think its awesome - seems like pretty good kit and software. I have no problem with having HUD information being displayed providing you have some control over opacity - but I imagine as stock it should be fine. For the average rider... maybe its too much? But I'm not an average rider 
Music is unlikely to be used, unless I'm doing long motorway segments (which is rare) but phone calls can be useful as I occasionally sneak out on a work day and have been caught out before
GPS is great, rear view could certainly be useful and I don't think it will get in the way
