I have to bring a CPAP machine along every where I go so I need the space. I travel comfortably on my Concours and hate to give up any "luxuries" .
My last big trip I just used my Oxford Sports panniers. They didn't sit that well on the bike due to the shape of the tail unit. But, at least they didnt fall off or get stuck in the wheel or anything.
Looking through the motohaus catalog http://www.motohaus.com/acatalog/Yamaha_...Cases.html for a UK price £207 for the bars.
I spotted these also at £207, for a neat looking pannier and bars set to secure everything too.

Yamaha's option looks like the same kit but with Yamaha on it.

The cheapest option is still strap a bag to the pillion grab rails.
