My last big trip I just used my Oxford Sports panniers. They didn't sit that well on the bike due to the shape of the tail unit. But, at least they didnt fall off or get stuck in the wheel or anything.

I spotted these also at £207, for a neat looking pannier and bars set to secure everything too.
