I guess the crushed area will be about 7 inches from the head.....if you do end up going down the road of reducing the headers"...see if you can find a machine shop and have some sleeved inserts made?...crushing/squashing just going to end up being a bodge!!....tbh..i think the balance pipe makes a huge diffrence
