The extra bits on insurance--worth it?
#11
Ok ---right bennets just the insurance for me is
£63 fully comp with £250 excess (no vol )
£58 TPFF £250 ex - no vol
£58 TP only zero ex zero vol.
All of them with no claims protected
So it looks like I am right at the bottom of the price scale and it dont matter what I do that part isnt getting any cheepaer.
I supose if I had to change all of my gear at once I would say £500. And I do have the receipts for everything, but I would hate to think of a crash that resulted in it all being damaged
But the policy states this ----- A reduction for Wear and Tear will be made in respect of Helmet and Leathers, And there is a £50 excess.
As my gear is not that new, or each peice expensive- no I think it's a waste of time on the helmet and leather front.
As mtread has said I dont need to pay extra for injury claims as they ring me most months about my "recent accident" anyway (foc'ers)
Which only leves Leagal cover which I have always had which as I understand covers my uninsured losses whith one of them being my £250 excess. But is that even worth having, unless I can get it for £15 or less. Thank you andybesy for that tip.
And thank you everyone for your help
Punkstig I would not be suprised if all of these insurance "extras" are next in line for a miss-selling scandal with instances like yours
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.
