If you are tall I'd recommend getting some rearset plates made up. Someone off here made some up to my specification a few years back - moved the pegs back a couple of inches (and also up a little too for clearance). Just some sheet steel, two nuts and bolts, and a threaded rod for the gearshift. The centre stand had to go (or cut down the lever arm as I did).
I also put an extra layer of padding on the seat and laid a new covering of vinyl over the top to raise that.
