TDM owner thinking on Fazer 800..?

I like the torque, and town riding is miles better than my old work hack (fazer 600), but there's a lot wrong with this one, and it's only supposed to be a cheap get to work bike. Fuel consumption isnt the best (45mpg versus 55mpg fazer). If I can sort the handling, I'll like the bike a lot better. Might have to buy a new shock yet, as the maxton one seems buggered!
