Just taken an mt09 for a spin.

You'll be amazed how much the mt09, and the fz1 are like chalk and Cheese locksmith. The mt is a high powered supermoto/street bike, and the fz feels like a tourer when you get back on it. The mt engine is tuned for low down torque, whereas the fz is a screaming thrash machine. It's worth the experience though, it'll certainly make you giggle. )

The FZ1 feels like a tourer afterwards !!

I'm assuming they will sell out all over as my dealer only has 6 and one of them is the demo bike.
Maybe they are trying to "create" demand and put the price up for when supply meets demand for next season.
