One thing possibly of note is that I believe the Fazer seats were re sculpted during a revision.  I think one version has a seat with more padding than the other which may move you upward an inch or so.

There are folk that say the earlier boxeye seat is an inch or two higher, but others say they're the same, and yet others say only the pillion seat is higher.
