choke cable problem

I never needed choke to start mine (but only had it through summer) until I removed the baffle from the Scorpion can. It now needs it to start every morning (although not usually again throughout the day), but I can turn it down almost instantly to idle at about 1600 rpm, by the time I've got my helmet and gloves on I can turn it off, so no real worries. Ivanising next weekend!
I have found that the gen 1s seem to be prone to stiff choke cable action, tho lubing has always been enough to keep things working ok.
