I've got the SP Engineering Moto GP end can fitted at the moment, and it all runs sweet apart from around the 2500-3000rpm mark, where it's a little bit jittery and you have to work the clutch.
The carbs are balanced so i'm definitely sure it's caused by the end can, as when i put the Quill one on it's not so bad.
I really want to give it a go without the baffle out of curiosity but the noise would be ridiculous, i already get people turning their heads when i ride down the road with the baffle in, and i reckon it's about 40% louder with the baffle out.
Sounds rather cool thoughÂmokin
That's because of the length of the can mate more than anything - had the same thing on my Ninja 9 - ended up shimming the needles and it sorted it out perfectly (that did have semi flat slide carbs as standard though which didn't help matters). Once I had that can mated up to a set of Akky headers that thing ran like an absolute beast

That does sound like a plan, only problem is i occasionally get bored with the noise and chuck the longer Quill can back on for a break on the ears, so for now i just put up with it, it's not really a major, just annoying knowing it could be slightly better.
