Fuel Light

Should be reasonably staright forward to ride without it working as long as you use the trip counter and keep an eye on the mileage you've done since you last filled up. I always reset my trip 1 after every fill up and when it gets to 200 milesish then I'll fill it up again. There is always loads left in the tank but no point risking it.

Chris

I wouldn't dare do that.... according to fuelly I get around 50mpg but the fuel light starts coming.on around 140 miles.  I find it had to believe it's only 2/3 empty at that time :-(.  I'd be interested in knowing what the shape of the fuel tank means... I.e.if the top third is narrower than the bottom 2/3 and the effect on the sensor.  Mine a a gen1 too tho.
Opinions are like A**holes, Everyone has one.  Some people seem to have more than one though which is a bit odd.
