You might be suffering a voltage drop to the instrument cluster which spikes when you turn on the headlights. Consider running a separate power supply to the instruments to overcome this issue.
Hi Falcon, I already have a 30A relay on my bike switching power to the satnav feed. Do you think it would be ok to run power from this instead of wiring a 2nd relay to deal with this? (yes I know 30A is overkill for a satnav but i wanted to future proof myself if I added anything else)
