I paid about £190 for the Caberg last November and thought it was a good buy with a sun visor and 5 star rating. Comfy but noisy and I always wear ear plugs. Think Caberg have a lot of work to do. Looking at a Schuberth next time but need a lid with sun visor, Shark S900C looking good also.
You're right about the fog city inserts - do a good job until they start to unstick, but they tend to last me about a year on all previous helmets so not bad value to me.
Lost count of how many times I refitted and reset the pinlock insert. Would check it didn't steam up then get about 2 miles down the road before it would let go and fog up. Put it down to visor flexing in the end which maybe associated with helmet cost.
Have nothing against Pinlock, it's just the Caberg was my first lid with the facility so have put it down to a Caberg issue - 2 different
lids from them, both with the same issues.
