Sunday....fun...thats certainly one word to describe it. Gut wrenching and horrible to see Christo trying to soar like an eagle is another. It certainly made me think about how bad it could have been and if I would prefer to ride solo :-P
It's easy to say that Sunday wasn't fun because of what happened to Christo. But no one knew that was going to happen when we set out, and of course, none of us would have wanted that to happen to any one of us. For all road users, whether car, bike, cyclist or whatever, we all know of the risks involved. But we still use the roads. I think if you read my post again, you'll see what I mean. If you think you're going to get away with accusing me of considering Christo's accident as fun, think again.
It's true though, isn't it? We set out with the intention of enjoying a day's riding for the sake of riding, yourself included?
