Good dose of brake cleaner down the ignition barrel (put a rag under) will clean out the crap in there which has made it stick. And I mean a good dose.....
By crap I mean WD40 and such like..... NOT a good thing for locks
Once clean then lube it with some lock oil (it does exist) or failing that some light 3 in 1 type stuff.
Make sure you open the lock protector plate for both operations.
Also, pull the connectors under the left hand front fairing infill panel and clean then with contact cleaner and re-seat.
Normal service will be resumed.
