I've been running quotes as my insurance renewal is in a few weeks and it's actually exactly the same cost for me to insure my 600 or a gen 1 thou - pity I can't afford to buy one at the moment 
Need to phone them up this week and try to blag the price down as its overkill this year (75% more expensive than what I paid last year...)
