If the bikes been on its side with the ignition on, the pump will still run.
However the floats in the carbs won't shut off the petrol because gravity doesn't work horizontally.
The pump will continue to fill the carbs and this can run down the inlet manifold past any open valves and into the cylinder.
It will then drain past the pistons and into the oil.
I recommend you change the oil.
