So those seats work then? (Actual experiences would be good)

As in the above link, then yes.
I have one and use it on longer rides. Increases bum to peg height by an inch, which helps the knees.
And the bum gets more of a softer formed seat, which if it gets uncomfortable you just wiggle and it moves around and reshapes.
I used to be uncomfortable after an hour or so, now i can last over 2 hours.
Gets a bit of used too, it grips the seat but is a bit slidey with textiles on.
