I bought it brand new in 2004, which was about the end of the cheap USA imports as the exchange rate became too poor. I had had a USA import VTR1000 which I chopped in for the Fazer, It was about £300 - £400 cheaper than main dealer. Bikewise in Southend gave me top price for VTR (same as they were selling for in MCN privately). There is very little difference from the UK bike, no restrictors etc etc, so it seemed like a good deal.
