Just personal taste AyJay. I don't like the silver rad covers on mine and the speed blocks in the paint are carbon effect so I thought I'd just complement the theme a little. The dipped carbon effect is also apparently very durable so should stay looking good for a long while. It's not just carbon effect they can do either - as well as having many designs on their website, they can produce your own designs too.
And actually, black carbon effect on the rad covers should make them stand out less!
