Tested battery and solenoid and both were fine, so bought a starter for £15 on fleabay. The first thing i noticed when rotating it was the new starter spun freely, while the old one was quite stiff to rotate. Fitted it and it spins over like it's meant too. Carbs are off at the moment as it leaks fuel when it's on the sidestand, so i'm going to replace the float needles. Ps.. i bet you are all thinking Fazers are totally reliable... Well they are, as i was looking for input as certain 'other forums are sh#t' and you guys are ace at helping out with good info. Pps it was my Gsxr 750 1986 slabside with 29mm flatsides. If it's broken, it's not fixed.
