Having an issue with one of my bikes.. In the morning when pressing starter the bike spins briefly then stops. When i press starter button there is a buzzing sound but the engine wont turn over. If i rock the bike back and forth in gear and press the starter it fires up. I tried shorting the solenoid this morning after it wouldnt turn over and it fired up? Question - is it starter or solenoid? it would appear starter 'rocking back and forth' and also solenoid 'shorting' 
If it's broken, it's not fixed.
