Ended up in Prague after a week and got a message from George Whites in Swindon asking where their bike was .OK, that's pretty impressive! Not something I'd like to try (but not exactly young and fit now!) Now consider this - when you got back, someone then approaches you and says "you've now got 4 hours to do 240 miles (average 60mph) - would you do it?
Did the 960 miles back in one hit - 20 hours - brilliant bike. On my return I asked to buy it and was told I had to wait two months for Yamaha to start dealer deliverys.
The start of a 10 year love affair with Fazers.

It helped the weather was good, i wouldn't fancy doing it in the pissing rain.If I meet you at Freiburg and say, "no, don't stop, keep going for another 550 miles", will you do it? I think there's a difference between doable, and wise.
I'm off to Europe tomorrow - Leaving Bristol at 530 and hope to be in Freiburg-I-B by 800pm. About 650miles all up.
1200 in 24 hours, doable if you think of it as 2x 600miles.
