Some good views, in some places as far as what I took to be Brecon Beacons, but very few places to stop to take them in. Apart from a couple of fag breaks, hardly stopped at all. Crossing the Cotswolds on the way, a lot of wash-out (loose gravel washed from hills in recent rain), so some dodgy cornering, especially in tree shaded bits where it was hard to spot til last minute. But an enjoyable ride, done at a steady pace rather than balls-out! Did stop at British Camp for a coffee, but couldn't be arsed to climb hill to the fort! Took about 4 hours in all, which makes me think with an early start, Wales is now reachable for a day ride (occasionally).Get up to me sometime,Hereford, i will take you into Wales for a first trip.About 3 1/2 hours round trip for me.
